Recycled HDPE ground mats at the best value

This is a standard 4×8 ft access mat moulded from 100% recycled black HDPE. It does the same job as a virgin mat — spreads load, takes a reversible tread, lasts for years — at a lower cost per panel and a markedly smaller carbon footprint. For fleets buying mats by the container, recycled HDPE ground mats are usually the smart default.

Why recycled performs

Black recycled HDPE is not a downgrade for site access. The polymer keeps full mechanical strength for spread loads up to ~80 t and point loads around 200 psi on prepared ground, and recycled black is naturally UV-stable — it does not need the pigments and stabilisers a coloured virgin mat relies on. Built for hire-fleet economics

At ~36–39 kg the mat is a two-person hand lift with a reversible tread you flip to renew grip and roughly double service life. End of life it is around 99% recyclable, so a worn mat becomes feedstock rather than landfill — the circular story that matters to fleets and main contractors with sustainability targets to report.

Where it earns its keep

Rental and hire fleets, large construction roadways, and general utility access — high-volume jobs where best value per square metre over a long life is the whole point. When appearance or colour matters, move to a custom virgin spec.
