Grass protection matting that keeps turf alive

Most grass protection matting works by spreading load. This translucent mat does that and one more thing: it lets daylight through to the turf underneath. Why light, air, and water matter

Turf does not fail from a weekend of foot traffic — it fails from being sealed off. The 3×6 ft panel is moulded in UV-stabilised translucent HDPE and carries ventilation and drainage detail so air and rainwater still reach the root zone during longer cover. That is the difference between temporary grass protection matting and a tarpaulin that cooks the lawn.

Load and tool-free assembly

At roughly 1.5 in thick the panel takes about 600 psi — enough for dense pedestrian crowds, vendor stands, and light service vehicles on a stadium or exhibition lawn. Tool-free cam-locks join panels into a flat, shift-free floor that a small crew lays and lifts fast during a tight event build, with no loose hardware to lose in the grass.

Where it earns its keep

Stadium concert flooring, festival walkways over turf, and exhibition lawns — anywhere the venue charges for turf damage or wants the grass back quickly. For a permanent load-bearing lawn, a turf reinforcement grid is the better tool. When a vehicle-rated surface matters more than keeping grass alive, look at a heavier access mat instead.
